Jack joined the Randell Design Group in spring 2023 after previously working at a practice in Winchester where he gained experience in both the large scale educational and high-end residential sectors. Whilst studying for his Architecture degree from Falmouth University Jack became extremely interested in designing innovative solutions to achieve sustainable designs. Jack’s final year project was born from the COVID pandemic and the impact it had on the workplace. The project culminated in the design of a co-working hub which utilised modular construction and biophilic design. Alongside his studies, Jack was involved in the design and build of a new six bed coastal house in Cornwall. This scheme used innovative architectural solutions, local materials and eco-friendly technologies which complimented the local vernacular. The project was a finalist in the LABC Building Excellence Awards 2020 in the category of Best Individual New Home. Outside of work Jack likes to get on the water in any way possible. He has windsurfed for as long as he can remember and now competes on the UK pro tour.
