Interior design of a new coastal home on Chichester Harbour
The dream
A relaxed but stylish forever home where the active family can live, work, play, relax and entertain while taking full advantage of the unique waterside setting.
The details
We love the mix of modern and vintage, the custom joinery throughout, the tranquil coastal palette, the warm natural materials, and the dog wash!
Designed to make the most out of life
We put our heart and soul into creating this magnificent replacement home on one of our favourite spots on Chichester Harbour. Working collaboratively, our architects and interior designers developed family accommodation across the main home, pool house and summer house. The interiors have been lovingly designed and specified in all their glorious detail, from custom joinery to bespoke taps and furniture. Working from the outset of the project, our interior designers really got to know the dreams and aspirations of our lovely clients. We designed the interiors to be elegant but very liveable using a tranquil coastal palette and natural materials.
The main home features a very open kitchen dining room which acts as the hub of the home, a snug for cosy evenings with the family, a home office, five ensuite bedrooms, a playroom, and a super practical laundry boot room. The pool house features a fun space for entertaining, a gym, and a wetsuit and shower room. Perhaps the most tranquil spot on this beautify property is the summer house, perfect for watching the sunset or housing overnight guests – lovingly referred to by the owners as “the doghouse”.
